BookVideoTV, BookTelevision and of course CSPAN, but I like how BN.com and Reader's Entertainment TV have specific genre channels and original shows. There's just more to see and I can be specific in what genre I'm interested in. Anyone else watch online tv?

Social Media Marketing TurnKey SolutionAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1717111663008628546.post-72364892632393928342007-12-14T00:43:00.000+09:002007-12-14T00:43:00.000+09:00Hey Serkan,Thanks very much for the links and the ...Hey Serkan,

Thanks very much for the links and the blogroll mention!

Looking back I think my comment came out more than a bit too strong, I'm certainly not angry. Also I agree with you about the scope of MF as a whole. My reference point was Adam's posts about the Japanese-language Internet, which are perceptive and hard to find elsewhere (in English).

Anyway I've added Asiajin to my RSS btw, thanks for the heads up.chris salzbergnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1717111663008628546.post-74403684460947675972007-12-13T19:10:00.000+09:002007-12-13T19:10:00.000+09:00Hi Chris,Thank you very much for your comment. As ...Hi Chris,

Thank you very much for your comment.

As you can imagine, it is not my intention to make anyone "angry". OF COURSE I now Global Voices (your section is in my RSS) and I just forgot to include you guys. My apologies. I will rephrase the paragraph in my post and include you in my blog roll. Actually I will add another blog I neglected to mention as well.

Concerning Mutant Frog I agree this is a great blog but in my view it is not SPECIFICALLY aimed at "covering the Japanese Internet scene". That is also the reason why I didn't include some of the other excellent Englsih blogs about Japan.

Sorry again and best regards,
SerkanSerkan Totohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16318159513819062429noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1717111663008628546.post-28097892730024088392007-12-13T18:36:00.000+09:002007-12-13T18:36:00.000+09:00"Just a couple of days before I set up Tokyotronic..."Just a couple of days before I set up Tokyotronic, Blognation Japan started with my friend Robert Sanzalone as editor. And that's about it..."

Hi Serkan,

You're not going to make many friends with that kind of comment. There are at least a few blogs trying to cover the Japanese blogosphere in English (albeit not enough). A great one is Mutant Frog Travelogue. The Japanese-language coverage at Global Voices, which I am involved in, is another. If you're unaware of what we're doing at GV then I forgive you -- but considering the time we're putting into this (translating dozens of Japanese-language posts every week) a little credit where it's due would be appreciated.

That said, keep up the great blogging.Chris Salzbergnoreply@blogger.com
